About
Developing with strategy.
I'm Fábio Silva, a software developer. I'm drawn to the unglamorous, high-leverage challenges — the manual rituals, the data nobody trusts, the decisions that need to be both fast and defensible.
My north star is simple: AI is a solution to real challenges, not the goal. I build with modern models constantly, and they're remarkable — but the work that matters is deciding where they belong and, just as deliberately, where they don't. The deterministic 95% should stay boring and reliable; the model earns its place in the ambiguous 5%, proposing while a human decides.
I care about legible systems, strong typography, fast pages, and shipping things people keep using after the demo is over. This site is both my portfolio and a small proof of that taste — hand-built, fast, and authored as plain Markdown in Git.
When I'm not building, I'm usually reading about how good tools get designed, or sharpening something small.
